Details, in collaboration with Dee Strong of Multifamily Strategic Advisors, was asked by the owner of Parker Hilltop Apartments to design the renovation of the community center using a new leasing paradigm, which would allow the renovated structure to be utilized by the residents from 9:00am to 10:00pm every day.
The client program included a video screening room, business center, Wi-Fi coffee lounge and exercise facility graciously separated from the leasing/business offices.
Details designed an interior that was grounded in the culture of the High Plains by incorporating reclaimed windmills, the work of Colorado artists, and a Frederick Remington bronze.

The client’s challenge at Santa Fe Place was one of geography.
The community, nestled in the hills of El Paso, was painted the same earth tones as the hillside. Though the community could be glimpsed from major arteries, it blended so well into the landscape that it virtually disappeared.
Details created an exterior color palette inspired by the culture of the Southwest: bright, saturated red, green, purple and blue. When completed, Santa Fe Place leaped from the hillside to announce its beautiful setting and vibrant connection with the people of the region.
