Multifamily, Adaptive Reuse
We had the privilege of working with Pres Kabacoff, the late Edward Boettner and Thomas Crumley of HRI, along with Kimberly-Clark on the conversion of the long-abandoned American Can canning facility into 268 apartment homes.
Details’ scope of work included redlining the apartment floorplan configuration, finish selection, lobby design/site specific art developed from scrap left from the canning process, and FF&E for lobby, pool, and model apartments.
The building includes the last remaining industrial steam locomotive shed in the United States.
